Like the Liberty range, the Subaru Intelligent Drive system makes an appearance on 3.0-litre Outbacks. The 3.0R model misses out on the Outback 2.5i PremiumÕs curtain airbags, sunroof and electric driverÕs seat, although it does gets alcantara trim, dual-zone air-conditioning with rear air vents, "Subaru Intelligent Drive", steering wheel paddle shifts and high-intensity discharge headlights. It also includes a 180kW/297Nm 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed automatic.
