Craigs hut was originally built for the set of Man from Snowy River, and was little more than 2 walls. Eventually it was rebuilt as a full hut in 1992-93. Camping in and around the hut is prohibated. Unfortunately The hut burnt down in December 2006 in the large Bushfires.

Bluff hut sits on top of a delightful range with great views and excellent surrounds. The hut is quite big and offering many rooms, which means multiple groups can camp at the hut and remain fairly isolated from each other. there are many areas to camp around the hut and waking up, opening your swag to the views of Mt Buller across the valley is superb.

In 2007 Navrun is going full steam ahead with another 5 Navruns all based in Victoria, except for Bathurst, NSW. Going into our 6th year we have fine tuned our rules and scoring technique, identified what makes a Navrun so much fun, yet we have made each one unique. We have re-invested our takings into equipment such as brand new digital cameras, breathalyser, speed radar gun, generator and lighting, mobile office, computer equipment, etc, which all contribute to Navrun events getting better and better.

Dr. Peter Jackson will be our tour guide. Peter has over 30 years experience in geology and accredited with many qualifications, Peter has great knowledge of mines in this area as well. We will visiting and entering actual mines worked in the 1800's in the Aberfeldy & Jordan district as well as a brief history and ghost town tour of the area, as well as looking at lone graves only known to me. By far one of the best stoves for hiking. I have had this baby for 10 years and it still performs well. The Pump has broken, although it still is useable. I haven't seen another stove as compact, reliable that boils a pot of water so fast.

Lake Eildon is a fantastic location for any four wheel drive trip. It has three distinct sections, each offering very different attractions and scenery. It is accessible from almost anywhere along the Goulburn Valley and Maroonda Highways, North East of Melbourne. Mansfield is the closest major centre in the area, with Alexandra, Yea, Marysville and Healesville all close by. Lake Eildon was formed in the 1950’s by the damming of the Goulburn River. The Lake has water from the Delatite, Goulburn, Jamieson, Howqua and Big Rivers. When water levels are low, the ruins of old homesteads deserted when the valley was flooded, can be seen.

Stockton Beach offers drivers the ability to set their own destiny, with no set tracks and plenty to see and do. The fun and sand of Stockton Beach is only 1.5 hours from Sydney, near Newcastle and the beautiful Port Stephens. It covers 32 kilometres of coast from Anna Bay in the north to Fern Bay in the south and averages 1 kilometre in width. It is accessed from the Pacific Highway via Hexham and Raymond Terrace. There is also an entry from Newcastle via Kooragang Island to Fern Bay, with the old barge used to transport vehicles long replaced by a bridge.
